I enjoy teaching AAT Level 2 & 3 courses at Sepera College in London. I have a commitment to students’ success and I receive many positive feedbacks. My goal is to build trusting relationships with students in order to create a safe, positive, and productive learning environment.

I also engage in establishing clear objectives for each lesson and work to meet those specific objectives during each class. All of my students are doing very well in their exams, which makes me extremely happy.

Accounting Work Experience

  • Providing an active services with Personal Tax and Corporation Tax work
  • Preparation of VAT returns, Bank and credit cards reconciliations
  • Completing and filing VAT Returns, MTD, VAT Reverse Charge for construction services
  • Preparation of Managements Accounts on a monthly basis
    (Managing Profit or Loss statements and Statement of Financial Position)
  • Preparation of Statutory Accounts for Limited Companies
    (such as Statement of Profit or Loss and Statement of Financial Position)
  • Filing financial records with Companies House
    (Confirmation Statements and Statutory Accounts for Limited Companies)
  • Processing company’s payroll every pay period such as maintaining payroll processing systems and records by gathering, calculating, and inputting data
  • Computing employee’s take-home pay based on time records, benefits, and taxes
  • Adhering to Automatic Enrolment Under the Pensions Act 2008 eg putting certain staff into a workplace pension scheme and contribute towards it
  • Answering staff questions about wages, deductions, attendance, and time records
  • Receiving and coordinating requests for leave and other absences
  • Adhering to payroll policies and procedures and complies with relevant law
    – providing P45 and P60 firms for the employed staff
  • Payroll reconciliations for the purposes of Statutory Accounts
  • Preparation of CIS calculations and payments to subcontractors
    including submissions to HMRC and issuing P&D Statements

Work Experience in Teaching

  • I have a passion for the subjects that I teach and I have been working for Sepera College for 7 years now.
  • I am confident and able to motivate students of all ages,
    abilities and backgrounds.
  • I hold an Association of Accounting Technicians (AAT) fully Qualified Finance/Accounts qualification, which is desirable to demonstrate competency in the subjects I teach.
  • I have a practical knowledge in accounting and Tax Advising in the UK
  • During my tutorial work I taught students on all levels of AAT programmes, but with a particular emphasis on Level 2 and Level 3.
  • I successfully prepared all lessons during the AAT Level 2 and Level 3 courses, as well as I assessed students’ work and provided them with developmental feedback, tracked their progress, and supported students’ success in passing their exams
  • I am confident in delivering the following units in particular:
    Level 3 Synoptic (use of spreadsheets/Ethics);
  • I am also confident in delivering the following units:
    level 4 – Management Accounting: Budgeting, Management Accounting: Decision and Control – Financial Statements of Ltd Companies, Personal Tax, Business Tax, and Synoptic.
